Day 99: Blue Skies and Sunshine !

 

I was awake just after 7 am today and up before 8, so I was able to enjoy the blue skies and sunshine ! There were only 2 stray cats waiting to eat this morning. One was the friendly male orange cat that is usually always there and the other was the black kitten that showed up a few weeks ago. I checked outside several times for the female that is always around but there was no sign of her. Perhaps she doesn't like the cold ! It was in the low 30's when I got up and by 10 am it was only 37 outside. Brrrr ! I think this was only the 2nd morning I've seen frost on the grass and a bit of ice in the water dish for the strays, but I'm sure the white stuff will find us eventually !

I spent the morning doing my usual: YouTube and Cookie Jam ! I have about 100 levels to go before I surpass the person above me. Once I make that jump it'll be a while before I can advance again, as the next person is up to level 10,114. It's going to take some time to get from 7100 to 10,100 but I'm up for the challenge !

I put the dishes away and got myself dressed today. I also unpacked the bag of plastic that needs to be washed and there isn't much. I also have a cookie sheet to wash. I also have a few things in the dishwasher so I may run that today, just to be able to say "I'm done" with dishes ! I also took some time to clean out all of my email accounts. Over the past few months I've given some thought to the "junk" that has crept into my home over the past few years. When I moved back into the house I was determined not to fill it with "stuff". However, "stuff" has been creeping in ! I'm moving back towards a purge cycle and I'm motivated to start getting rid of stuff. 

By noon I had washed all the dishes, including all the cat bowls ! Once that was done I sat down to finish my 3rd cup  of coffee and have a yogurt. I also checked in on my bank account to ensure the transfer to cover my credit card payment had posted. I also scheduled a transfer for 11-30 to cover the December mortgage, insurance and internet bills. Last up was buying Nutrisystem gift cards to cover my next order.

Below is what I achieved today. I am focusing on what I do each day, and not looking back to what I did or didn't do any other day. I hope that one day soon I won't need a checklist to ensure I do all of these everyday tasks !
